There was a weed-filled lump of land surrounded by highways and bike
paths near Karlberg station. It was fenced in, but somehow wild. If
you even noticed it when you passed by, it would be hard to imagine
anything living creature surviving there. But maybe thats how it started,
by imagining what creatures could possibly live on No mans land...
From there the idea took shape from whatever materials became available.
Using stacks of abandoned chipboard and ”public” resources
like an outdoor electricity outlet, akay and klisterpete built a wildlife
reserve. An odd, shadowy zoo where strangely porportioned animals stood
against the sky, looking so at home on their isolated area of no man’s
land, that no one seemed to be bothered by the sudden appearance of
animals staring back at them.
